How to Get Full-Service Design When Face-to-Face Isn’t Practical
Here at Peg Kusner Design, we love to do our work the old-fashioned way; up-close and in-person. But for our clients who live out of state for part of the year, working virtually has made the design process seamless—even at a distance. And when “Shelter at Home” orders were enacted with the pandemic, it was an easy shift to do ALL of our design work virtually.

What is eDesign?
Quite simply, eDesign is interior design done entirely online (by phone, text, email, and video) rather than in-person. It magically allows designers and their clients to work together virtually from anywhere in the world.
Who is eDesign for?
You’ve probably seen eDesign targeted to young families as an affordable, DIY approach to interior design. But what we offer here at PKD is NOT your Gen-Xer’s eDesign.
Our signature process sets us apart from the rest by fusing the tailored in-person service of traditional design with the practicality and convenience of working with us online.
On-site or online, our clients get the same friendly, personalized attention. It’s truly a collaboration between us!
What's included in eDesign?
Whether you work with us in-person or virtually, you’ll receive the same great services. We’ll talk with each other (a lot!). We’ll share our little black book of the best and brightest of vendors and artisans. We’ll provide mood boards, shopping lists, designer tricks of the trade, and styling tips. In short, your eDesign experience will be the same as if we were working face-to-face!
How does eDesign work?
To begin, we’ll hop on a video call together. It’s our chance to get to know each other. We’ll talk about the project, expectations, likes and dislikes. Because we will be working closely, we need to know we actually like each other and will work beautifully together!
Once we’ve determined we’re a good fit, we’ll have you take measurements and photos of your space . (Don’t panic—we’ll be with you every step of the way!)
Next, we create space plans, design and color concepts, as well as furniture and finish selections and accessories to make your space truly yours.
Lastly, we’ll organize everything into a beautiful package that will arrive both virtually in your inbox and physically at your doorstep. And you always have the option of us meeting in-person to make the final tweaks and get everything picture perfect!

We put as much love and attention into our eDesign projects as we do our in-person projects. We limit the number of clients we work with every month to ensure they receive the highest level of personalized, hands-on service.
It’s truly a collaborative process, and our full-service eDesign is tailored to your exact project needs. Just as in traditional design, you will take an active role in the design process to ensure you love your design.
You always have the final say in what you choose to purchase from your bespoke shopping list. You can be as hands-on as you like!
